For the first time in history Luxembourg National Teams will participate in a MEVZA qualfication Tournament. The Middle European Volleyball Zonal Association (MEVZA) was founded October 19, 2002 in Schwechat (Austria). Founding members were the national federations of Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland.
From January 3rd to January 7th, the U20 National Teams of the Red Lions will participate in Maribor (SLO) - U20 Women Tournament - and in Puchov (SVK) - U20 Men Tournament.
The U20 Women have been drawn together with hosts Slovenia, Austria and Czech Republic.
The U20 Men play against the National Teams of Slovakia, Israel and Croatia.

Le VC Stroossen est très bien représenté pour cette première expérience de l’équipe nationale Luxembourgeoise de U20 à ce niveau.
Du côté des dames, Anna Karzel et Margarita Mukhamedieva font partie du cadre national.
Chez les hommes la présence du VC Stroossen dans ce groupe des U20 est impressionante. En effet pas moins de 8 joueurs en font partie.
Mykhaylo Voronkevych, Roy Cheung, Charel Schmitz, Louis Zhu, Lucas Corallo, Bilal Kahya, Inemek Louis et Luca Modard.
